The Add-on Component For Reading Chinese |

In order to be able to see Chinese characters on your screen, you will need a helper software program such as NJStar CJK Viewer, Twin Bridges, etc. running in the background or install an add-on component in you Web Browser. For Internet Explorer users you can follow these steps to install the add-on program.
Internet Explore Version 4 - Microsoft Web Site (Or other site appropriate to you system and version).

Go to the Internet Explorer 4.0 Component Download Web Page.
Section = MULT-LANGUAGE SUPPORT
Select the "Chinese (Traditional) Language Support"
or ,if you like, the "Chinese (Simplified) Language Support"
The file size is approximately 3.3MB.
Download the file, install the add-on and restart your system.
Internet Explore Version 5: -
From the view menu (or right click on a Web page), point at Encoding ,
you will see the first lanaguage (e.g.
Western European [Windows].
If you do not see Chinese Language underneath
choose more , then select Chinese Traditional [Big5] (See below)
If you do not already have the add-on, you will be prompted
to download the software (approx. 4 MB) and install automatically.
Netscape Communicator
Netscape Communicator 4.x users: If you have NJ Star Viewer (Lienced Software)
Select from the VIEW menu,
choose the CHARACTER SET option,
then check TRADIONAL CHINESE [Big5].
