太極拳是融會導引、吐納為一體之中華最著名的內家拳術,是經過長期的發展前人 為我們留下來寶貴的經驗。 除了有較強的武術技擊作用﹐它更有較好的醫療保健作 用, 因此今天太極拳已成為廣大群眾極其熱愛的人體健康修練的一種運動。太極拳包括 剛柔內外肢體(形)﹐呼吸(氣)﹐和意念(意)的鍛練﹐以達強身健體﹐怯病延年之功 效。常練可增加體力﹐消除疲勞﹐幫助身體平衡、靈活和美觀﹐對中老年人甚有脾 益。 正因為它是經過長期的發展而成﹐太極的起源和創作論點頗多﹐何實何虛則見仁見 智。發展至現代太極拳的各門各派眾多﹐主流的派系包括有陳式﹐楊式﹐武式﹐ 吳 式和 孫式等五大門派。 陳式太極拳源自河南溫縣陳家溝。據載明末武將陳王庭在晚年隱居造拳而創。後陳 氏 家族世代相傳﹐ 不斷提煉成為一種健身和技擊、內外兼收的拳術。陳式太極拳套路 主要是分老架一路、老架二路、新架一路 和 新架二路。 較流行的新架一路由陳氏第十七代傳人陳發科晚年所定的拳式。動作富有彈性、螺 旋的特色﹐更備剛柔相濟、快慢相間的兩個對立面矛盾統一的特點。運作時調整虛 實﹐上下相隨、節節貫串、一氣呵成﹐圓活如珠﹐ 使神氣與身法活潑無滯。 楊式太極拳源於河北永年人楊露禪。楊從學於河南溫縣陳家溝之陳長興﹐其子健 侯、孫澄甫等在陳式老架太極拳的基礎上﹐創編發展了楊式太極拳。其拳路逐 漸刪改了陳式原有的跳躍、震足、發勁等動作﹐健侯修訂為中架子﹐又經澄甫 一再修訂逐漸定為大架子﹐即現在廣為流行的楊式太極拳。楊式拳架舒 展簡潔,結构嚴謹,身法中正,動作和順,剛柔內含,輕鬆自然,輕靈沉著兼而有 之。姿勢開展,平正朴實,練法簡易,由鬆入柔,剛柔相濟。 楊式太極拳套路中包含有約八十個不同的動作﹐連貫起來的全套套路則有由七十八 式至一百二十多式大同小異的套路。近代更加上不少迎合大群眾的﹐表演和競賽等 等的簡潔而取於精華的格式。最流行而最為大眾熟悉的二十四式簡化太極拳也從楊 式太極的基礎創編而成。 |

ai Chi Chuan is an ancient Chinese martial art. It is also well known as a mental and physical exercise
as the training involves physical movements, breathing techniques and mind cultivation. It is not only popular
in China, but in all parts of the world. It emphasizes on gentle movements, relaxed yet disciplined.
It consists of the effect of Chi Kung, and training of mind concentration through relaxation.
There are many schools of Tai Chi today and the stories about the root of this art have been controversial.
The five main streams include the Chen, the Yang, the Wu(武), the Wu (吳) and the Sun styles.
Because the movements are relatively easy for the general public,
it's likely that more people are familiar with the Yang style.
The Yang style has branched out into various schools of teaching with different routines.
Nevertheless, all of the routines consist of the same basic movements,
whether it is the 85 forms, the 88 forms, the 103 forms, the 108 forms or 129 forms.
The most practiced "Simplified 24 form Tai Chi Chuan, though not from the Yang masters,
was developed based on the Yang style movements.
