Waitankung Movement Description
7. CROSS HANDS

PURPOSE:
To obtain a peaceful mind from crossing hands and coordinating fingers.
調和十指活動,疏導心臟輸血通路,使肺活量舒展,咽喉清朗,心神自會安定。 合十之功,安定心神。火宮融和,金宮流暢。(心火肺金)。

STEPS:

  1. Keep the feet apart in parallel at shoulder width
  2. Bend the knees slightly in a firm but comfortable position
  3. Cross hands in front of the chest, right hand inside, back to back, fingers apart
    (leave the armpit open, that is the arms are away from the chest)
  4. Spread fingers outward 9 times to stimulate ch'i
  5. Let the arms tremble for 30 seconds or more
  6. Pull the right hand and put it under the left hand, repeat steps 3 - 5
1)原地不動,此時身下蹲十五度,即提二肱(肘至手腕一段)交叉搭十於胸前,左 手在外,右手在內,兩掌上立,十指尖與手腕垂直,二肘下墜,十指張,右大姆指 對左乳前,左大姆指對右乳前,目平視,舌抵上顎,口微張,呼吸自然,通身不可 用力。
2)心中默數九個字,每數一字,『掌按指翹』一次,九字數畢,靜待先天氣, 從兩手及肱,肩臂顫抖,由微波狀,逐漸擴大如同電流,使兩胳膊及軀抖動,時間 三十秒。
3)即刻掏出右手搭十左肱外,大姆指對左乳前,左手不動,活動過程見(1) (2)之法,時間亦三十秒。

NOTES:
It is important to stand still to maintain a firm base and keep calm in working on this movement.
雙腳固定站立﹐使下身穩固﹐上身鬆凈活動自如。
