3. ARM STRETCHING

PURPOSE:
Send ch'i to the tips of the upper limbs (or to feel ch'i activation).
送氣至末稍。試嘗氣感。

MOVEMENT DESCRIPTION:
Stretch your arms to their full extend, then bend the hands upward to form a 90 degree angle. Focus on the middle finger on one side for approximately 10 seconds. Repeat the same on the other side.

STEPS:

  1. Continued from the prior step. Keep feet apart in a horizontal line
  2. Extend arms horizontally and bend palms upward as if pushing two walls on both sides
  3. Turn head to the left, focus on the midpoint of the middle finger for about 10 seconds
  4. Turn head to the right, focus on the midpoint of the middle finger for about 10 seconds
1)雙腳原地不動,身微下蹲,軀幹中直,兩胳膊向兩肩外伸直,兩掌立起,兩 大指向外撇開,兩手腕平肩。
2)回頭向左望,目視中指,意貫左手心指肚上,呼吸自然。
3)飛雁回首分為左右二式,屬「目視導引法」之一種。停二十秒,左中指有感 氣至為宜。
4)原狀不動,再擰頭目視右中指。中指通心也,本式功能心神相交,也停二十 秒。
