West East

  1. Right foot retreats one step diagonally, raise sword to be pulled
  2. Shfit weight to the right leg, draw sword below waist level
  3. Turn body right to form a right bow stance, use a back hand to put sword to line up horizontally with the shoulder; sword finger follows the right wrist, then change the back hand to a forehand to turn sword
  1. Turn wrist to stand the sword upright, left foot tip-toe next to the right foot, sword finger next to the right forearm
  2. Turn body left to face East, raise left foot to stand on one leg; led by left sword finger, with a right reverse hand lifts the sword to pierce over the head in front; energy focus is on the sword tip approximately at eye level
