- Shift weight to the left foot, turn body left slightly, draw sword towards left the shoulder,
horizontally line up in front of the chin,
look at the sword tip on the right hand side
- Turn body left and turn head to face South East, bend wrist to flip the sword down to level with the shoulders, with both feet in place,
change the form to a left bow stance

- Lower sword and draw it back to the right at waist level while switch back to a right bow stance,
sword finger on top of the right palm
facing down, look at the sword finger
- Turn body left to face South East, sword finger leads towards the front, eyes follow;
left foot withdraws first then sticks out to form a tapping stance,
hold sword diagonally next to the thigh on the right
