Left sweeping
West East

  1. Left foot steps closer to the right foot, tip-toeing, withdraw sword to near the waist on the right side
  2. Left foot steps up; extend sword in front, turn over palm to face down
  3. Turn right palm up and turn body left to form a left bow stance slightly to the NE;

4th and 5th step movements
  1. Draw sword with a curve slashing gesture on the right side, bring sword to left with the sword knob pointing to the ribs on the left, sword tip points in front; raise sword finger curving up above the left forehead
  2. Keep body straight to face East
