- Turn body left slightly, left foot pivots to face NE, swing sword upward counter clockwise,
sword finger downward on the left
- Right foot steps back and tip toe next to the left foot, swing sword to the left side,
lower sword finger to the left waist

- Turn body right stepping out the right foot,
bring sword across in front at waist level
- Swing sword upward with a back hand to the level of the right forehead while forming a right bow stance,
keep body straight to face the East
