- Twist body and shift weight to the right, draw sword across in front, at chin level, pivot both feet to
face South; eyes follow the handle
- Raise the right foot above the left ankle, lift sword above the head,
lower sword finger to waist level, continue the turn to West

- Continue the turn until facing North West, right foot steps up, sword finger curves out
- Move body forward forming a right bow stance, strike sword (chop) downward to shoulder height, keep sword and
the right arm in a straight line, curve sword finger above the head
